Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh (CTU AP) is a centrally funded institution created expressly to expand higher‑education opportunities for the state’s Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. Section 2 of the Act enumerates three core objectives: (a) to provide quality undergraduate and postgraduate education to ST students, (b) to promote research on tribal cultures, languages, and sustainable development, and (c) to serve as a hub for capacity‑building initiatives in tribal‑dominant districts of the state.
