The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) is a premier autonomous university in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, dedicated to education and research in space science, engineering and technology. Established in 2007 under the Indian Space Research Organisation, it supplies highly trained engineers for India's satellite and launch vehicle programmes, and its campus hosts the worldâclass Space Technology Incubation Centre.
