The Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) is the Indian government department that formulates policy and supports education, research and practice of these traditional medical systems. It integrates them into national health programmes to broaden therapeutic options; in 2022 it funded a $100āmillion scheme to set up 30 new Ayurvedic colleges.
