About — Namma Metro Phase 2
Namma Metro Phase 2 is the second expansion of Bengaluru’s rapid‑transit system, adding three new lines that will extend service to the city’s southern, eastern and western suburbs. The project, valued at about ₹14,000 crore, will raise the network length to roughly 73 km, easing traffic congestion and cutting commute times.
