Nandan Nilekani is an Indian entrepreneur and technocrat best known as coāfounder of Infosys, the country's pioneering software services firm. He later chaired the Unique Identification Authority of India, overseeing the rollout of the Aadhaar biometric ID system that now covers over a billion residents. In 2010 he authored a bestselling book on India's digital future.
