The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education that evaluates and accredits technical and professional programmes in India. Its accreditation, a mark of quality, boosts institutional reputation and eligibility for funding; in 2022 the NBA accredited over 1,200 engineering programmes at more than 300 colleges.
