The National Digital Communications Policy 2023 is a government blueprint to modernise India’s telecom network, expand broadband to underserved areas, and promote technologies such as 5G, AI, and satellite communications. It aims to place India in the top three global digital economies by 2030, and mandates 5G rollout in every district by 2025, targeting one billion connections.
