About — National Horticulture Mission
The National Horticulture Mission (NHM), launched in 2007-08, is a central sector mission aimed at augmenting horticultural production and improving farmer livelihoods through modern techniques and infrastructure. It targets 50 high-productivity districts and allocates significant funds, such as the initial Rs 1,000 crore outlay, to promote sustainable horticulture practices and enhance market access.
