About — National Hydrogen Mission

The National Hydrogen Mission is a government‑led initiative to develop a domestic hydrogen economy, focusing on production, storage, distribution and end‑use technologies. It aims to cut carbon emissions, diversify energy sources and create high‑tech jobs. In 2023 the mission earmarked ₹20,000 crore for a 5‑GW green‑hydrogen hub in Gujarat.
