The National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) is a government‑backed roadmap earmarking about ₹111 trillion (US$1.4 trillion) for infrastructure over five years, covering transport, energy and digital connectivity. It aims to boost economic growth, create jobs, and attract private investment by providing a clear pipeline of projects. For example, the Delhi‑Mumbai Expressway, a 1,350‑km road, is an NIP project slated for 2025 completion.
