The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) is a Naga separatist insurgent group operating in Northeast India and Myanmar, seeking an independent Nagalim for Naga peoples. It has been a major security challenge, negotiating ceasefires with the Indian government. In 2015, the NSCN‑IM faction signed a historic framework agreement with New Delhi, though implementation remains contested.
