About — Nethravathi River
The Nethravathi River is a 105‑km watercourse in Karnataka's Western Ghats, flowing westward into the Arabian Sea near Mangalore. It sustains rich biodiversity and supports agriculture and fishing for thousands of villages along its banks. The river’s estuary hosts the unique mangrove ecosystem of the Netravathi‑Mangalore coastal zone.
