The National Technical Development Programme Committee (NTDPC) is a high‑level panel created by India’s Ministry of Education to evaluate and reform technical higher education. Its 2016 report spurred the adoption of a single national engineering entrance exam and the launch of the National Institutional Ranking Framework, reshaping admissions and institutional assessment across the country.
