Panchayat Yuva Krida Khel Abhiyan, launched in 2022, is a government scheme to promote sports and physical activity among rural youth through panchayat‑level programs, aiming to nurture talent, improve health, and strengthen community bonds. In its first year more than 1.2 million participants from over 30,000 villages joined organized tournaments and training camps.
