The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Disaster Management is a Lok Sabha‑Rajya Sabha committee that scrutinises India’s disaster management policies and legislation. It strengthens coordination and accountability among central and state agencies. In 2021 it reviewed the Cyclone Amphan response and urged a unified early‑warning system.
