Repurpose Used Cooking Oil (RUCO) refers to the collection and conversion of waste cooking oil from households and restaurants into valuable products such as biodiesel, soap, or animal feed. It reduces environmental pollution, conserves fossil fuel, and creates a circular economy. In 2022, India processed over 1 million litres of RUCO into biodiesel.
