About — Srirangam Temple

Srirangam Temple, or Ranganathaswamy Temple, is a sprawling Hindu shrine on an island in the Kaveri River, Tamil Nadu, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is the world’s largest functioning temple complex, exemplifying Dravidian architecture; its 21‑meter Rajagopuram, finished in 1987, towers over the city.
