About — Tourism Satellite Account

A Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) is a systematic framework that measures the economic contribution of tourism to a country's GDP, employment and investment, using internationally comparable methodology. It helps policymakers assess tourism’s impact, design targeted strategies, and monitor growth. For example, the 2022 TSA for Spain showed tourism contributed €124 billion, about 12 % of its GDP.
