About — United Liberation Council
The United Liberation Council (ULC) is a coalition of regional separatist groups formed in 2015 to coordinate political and armed struggle for self‑determination in Manipur. It boosted insurgents’ bargaining power, and in 2019 the ULC signed a cease‑fire with the government, securing the release of 150 detainees.
