India, the world’s top mango producer, cultivates over 1.5 million hectares in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Mangoes generate about 15 % of India’s fruit export earnings, and the 2022 harvest of 19.5 million tonnes fed the domestic market while supplying processors like Fruitland.
